I’m Meredith “Mere” McBride Kipp. I’ve been a creative director and stylist in retail & publishing (focused on decor, home products, luxury and fashion) for over 10 years now. I am a polished DIY gal (gutted my last home with my husband) and have a beautiful “new” 209-year-old farmhouse I’m working on now (here is our first project: walk-in closet). Between my personal projects, decor projects, endless entertaining, and creative for the NYC interior design mag I am the Creative Director for, I’m always striving to create beautiful, vibrant content that excites. My experience managing art departments, insane budgets and absolutely-ridiculous deadlines has made me an inventive, versatile, analytical and resourceful creative.
Aside from my years of page design in publishing, I was the lead creative at tabletop retail brand Michael C. Fina (responsible for all merchandising, windows, advertising, web redesign, you name it…). I have gone to market for decor, accessories, gifts and tabletop in Paris and New York, so have seen a lot of beautiful things on the market. I take trips just to find inspiration in museums and in cultures, I’m always on the hunt for fabulous little objets at estate sales and antique stores, and Musée des Arts Décoratifs is my absolute favorite place on earth! (I even ran into Jonathan Adler in the gift store there once. Small world.)
As you can see, I’m a a home girl through and through… and this is my online home where I unleash all the beautiful things that give me chills or make me think… I hope it will do the same for you. Please, make yourself at home.
